ACMA (Australia) has blocked nine offshore operator websites and major affiliate platforms
ACMA has blocked nine more offshore gambling and affiliate websites, reinforcing its ongoing crackdown on unlicensed online operators in Australia. The move highlights the regulator’s escalating efforts to protect consumers

ACMA stated that these websites do not hold an online gambling licence in Australia. As a result, the authority has instructed Australian internet providers to block access to them.
The following websites were targeted
Kingmaker Casino (KNG Partners)
Cashed Casino (Strong Affiliates)
Posido Casino (247 Partners)
Spinight Casino (Buzz Affiliates)
Spinsy Casino (Strong Affiliates)
next2go-au.com (brand affiliate site)
wizbet.app (brand affiliate site)
thepokiesreviews.net (major affiliate site)
topionetworks.com (a top-3 affiliate site in Australia, operating via the Matching Visions network)
While operators typically migrate to new domains quickly and move on, for SEO affiliates — especially those of this scale — such blocks may mark the beginning of serious decline.
The total number of websites blocked since November 2019 has reached 1,369. Importantly, ACMA often blocks mirror sites of operators and affiliates without issuing additional notices.
In addition, since ACMA began enforcing its updated rules against illegal online gambling companies in 2017, around 220 unlicensed services have exited the Australian market.
ACMA also reminds consumers that even if a service appears legitimate, it is unlikely to provide any real safety guarantees. This means Australians using illegal gambling platforms risk losing their money. Broader Implications for Australia’s iGaming Ecosystem
ACMA’s latest round of blocks shows just how firmly the regulator is now moving against offshore gambling operations and the affiliate networks that promote them. For large SEO affiliates, the consequences can be especially damaging: once a domain is blocked, traffic collapses, rankings disappear, and recovery may take months — if it happens at all. Industry analysts point out that this escalation reflects a broader strategy aimed at tightening oversight across the entire online gambling chain, from operators to marketing partners. ACMA is also strengthening cooperation with internet providers and international regulators, which makes it harder for unlicensed platforms to stay accessible by simply switching domains. For Australian players, the crackdown provides a clearer and safer online landscape, but it also reinforces the importance of checking whether a betting or casino service holds a valid Australian licence before using it.
