Longtime Executive Announces Exit

Noifeld announced his departure in a LinkedIn post. He said the past 12 years have been exciting and rewarding. However, he believes now is the right time to move on and begin a new chapter.

His departure will not happen right away. Instead, he will remain with the company for the next few months to help with the transition. The move ends a journey that started in 2014 when he first joined the Flutter business.

Noifeld described his time with the company as a success. He suggested that his goals had been achieved — making this the right moment to leave.

Career Began with a Bold Opportunity

Noifeld also looked back at how his career with Flutter began. He said it started with a cold call from Sam Hobcraft, the first managing director of PokerStars Casino. At the time, PokerStars was mainly known for poker. Hobcraft told him the company wanted to build one of the world's largest online casino businesses from scratch.

The idea sounded ambitious — and Noifeld admitted he thought it was a little crazy. Nevertheless, he accepted the offer and joined the company. Years later, he said it turned out to be a great decision.

Growth Across Several Markets

During his years with Flutter, Noifeld worked with different brands and teams. He also moved countries several times as new opportunities appeared. His career included four relocations. One of those moves brought him to the United States, where he joined FanDuel and helped grow its casino business. Over the years, he gained experience in several areas:

Beyond the business side, Noifeld said he built strong friendships with many colleagues. He described those relationships as one of the best parts of his career.

Hence, his departure appears to be a personal career decision rather than a response to business issues. The company has not yet announced who will replace him.
