$630 million in gross revenue from online casino and sports betting
$64 billion in total wagers in the private iGaming market
$2.4 billion in gaming revenue from private operators
Casino games, including slots and table games, are the dominant category in Ontario’s iGaming space, accounting for 86% of total wagers and 75% of gaming revenue. Industry data from H2 Gambling Capital reveals:
Market share: commercial operators 78%, OLG 16%, offshore 5%
Leaders: bet365 (15%), FanDuel (13%), Betano (9%)
Casino games dominance: 86% wagers, 75% revenue
PDX Slots' arrival in Ontario is another indicator of the province’s appeal to iGaming companies. With its robust infrastructure and growing customer base, Ontario offers a fertile environment for gaming suppliers and operators alike. On the same day, Vancouver-based Jackpot Digital Inc. also secured an AGCO license, further illustrating the market’s expanding ecosystem.
Ontario’s iGaming industry continues to thrive, and the inclusion of new players like PDX Slots signals opportunities for innovation and growth in the regulated gaming landscape. This development highlights the province's position as a leading hub for online gambling in North America.
