Playson Targets Colombia in Continued Regional Expansion
Playson secures a Colombian supplier license from Coljuegos and launches with Rush Street Interactive, strengthening its regulated presence across Latin America.

Playson is now officially cleared to work in Colombia after securing approval from the country’s regulator, Coljuegos. With the paperwork in place, the studio can begin supplying its titles to locally licensed operators and operate under Colombia’s regulatory framework.
The choice of market looks deliberate. Colombia was among the first countries in Latin America to properly regulate online gaming, and it has spent years refining that system. Today it’s considered one of the region’s more predictable and structured environments — something that matters to suppliers planning to stay for the long run rather than test the waters and move on.
Rush Street Interactive Becomes First Local Partner
The company is not entering alone. Its first agreement in Colombia is with Rush Street Interactive, a major name in the region. Through this partnership, a selection of Playson titles will become available to Colombian players.
Starting with a strong operator sets the tone. It allows Playson to launch with scale from day one, while RSI expands its content mix with games that have already gained traction in other regulated jurisdictions.
Christinan Zito, Head of LatAm at Playson, described the launch as a key step for the studio’s regional strategy. He pointed out that working with an established operator makes the entry more meaningful and creates a base for steady growth.
Technology as a Quiet Advantage
The public side of expansion is one thing, but scaling across markets also requires solid infrastructure. Playson uses a cloud-based architecture that allows it to plug into new jurisdictions efficiently while keeping performance consistent. As the company widens its reach, the priority remains straightforward: reliable operation, quick load times, and no technical friction for players or operators.
For players, that simply translates into uninterrupted gameplay. For operators, it means reliable integration and scalability — both essential in regulated markets with strict standards.
Expansion That Has Been Building for Months
The Colombian approval follows other recent moves. In 2025, Playson entered Brazil through a partnership with Cactus Gaming. Prior to that, it made its debut in Ontario, launching with High Flyer Casino.
Taken together, these steps show a pattern. The company is not chasing random opportunities. It is moving market by market, focusing on regulated environments and established partners as it expands its international reach.
