RubyPlay has officially expanded into Austria, marking another milestone in its European growth strategy. The game developer secured the necessary approval to supply its content locally and has joined forces with win2day, the only legally authorised online casino in the country.

The move gives Austrian players access to RubyPlay’s portfolio of slot titles, while reinforcing the supplier’s presence in tightly regulated jurisdictions.

A Curated Portfolio for a Regulated Market

As part of the launch, several of RubyPlay’s popular releases have been introduced to Austrian audiences. Titles such as Mad Hit? Diamonds, Immortal Ways? Gallina Harvest, and Zeus Rush Fever? Deluxe SE are now integrated into win2day’s online casino offering.

The collaboration reflects a shared emphasis on quality and compliance. Both companies underline their commitment to meeting Austria’s strict consumer protection framework, ensuring that entertainment standards align with regulatory expectations.

Georg Wawer, Managing Director of win2day, highlighted the importance of adapting content to local safeguards. He noted that close cooperation between the teams allows the games to be fine-tuned to Austria’s robust player protection rules, delivering a secure and responsible experience.

Operating Within Austria’s Unique Market Structure

The brand win2day is run by Austrian Lotteries and currently holds the country’s only online casino licence. Austria remains one of the few European jurisdictions maintaining a monopoly model for online casino operations, although discussions continue about possible structural changes.

For RubyPlay, entering such a market signals confidence in its compliance capabilities and long-term European ambitions.

Shared Focus on Standards and Growth

Dr. Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, described win2day as a trusted name with a strong reputation for responsible gaming and premium entertainment. He characterised the launch as the company’s first step into Austria and an opportunity to present tailor-made content to a new audience.

Outside Austria, the company has kept up a steady pace of growth. Last year it rolled out its games in Ontario through a deal with NorthStar Bets and also deepened its reach in Spain by working with Paf, one of the region’s established operators.

Adding Austria to that list is another practical step rather than a symbolic one. RubyPlay has been deliberately targeting well-regulated jurisdictions, building long-term relationships with trusted partners and adapting its content to fit strict local requirements in each new market it enters.
