When I first loaded the Gold Blitz slot machine, I appreciated how straightforward and  well-structured it is: it’s a 6-reel slot with 4,096 ways to win. In my opinion, this is much more interesting and attractive than the fixed payline system, even though it does knock the ground out from under your feet a little. Wins are formed left to right on adjacent reels.

The heart of the game is the Collect mechanic (even in the Gold Blitz paytable, it is highlighted first): Cash symbols and Jackpot tokens land on the grid, and when a Collect symbol aligns with them, all visible values are collected instantly.

The number of spins you get depends on how many Scatters triggered the feature.

• Multiple Wilds in one win can combine their multipliers, creating explosive payouts.

Based on my testing experience and how the feature works, I can say this: free spins seem like the better option because there are more of them, but in reality, things work a little differently. I would recommend choosing Gold Blitz Spins because, although they offer fewer spins, their value increases immediately. So here's a quick guide to using this feature: if you only get 3 Scatters, it's better to choose regular free spins, but if you get more than 3 Scatters, Gold Blitz Spins seems to be the better option.

For the most part, I don't recommend buying the bonus round because it's very expensive and may not necessarily pay off. Here, by the way, it is also expensive: for testing, I bought the most expensive bonus round with 6 Scatters for $300. I chose Gold Blitz Spins and managed to win $325, which covered my expenses, but only marginally. 

So, here the bonus purchase is still worth the money. Therefore, if you have a large enough bankroll that will allow you to continue playing in case of a loss in the bonus round, I recommend purchasing it, at least the $240 version (at a bet of $2).

When it comes to the base game, it is quite generous and dynamic. The sequel is inferior to the original in this regard.

In terms of performance, the game is strong, except for the maximum win. Some games surpass Gold Blitz by several heads. But the high hit frequency and high volatility can be clearly seen during the game. Adding the variability of bonus rounds to these indicators, the winning potential here is high, and small and medium default wins are frequent.

The general algorithm is simple.

1. Choose your bet (from 0.20 to 50).

2. Spin the reels. Watch for Cash + Collect alignments.

3. Land 3+ Scatters to enter the Bonus Choice (Free Spins or Gold Blitz).

4. In Free Spins, Wilds with multipliers may appear on reels 2-4, and extra Scatters add spins.

5. In Gold Blitz mode, every spin has a Collect symbol, and payouts are guaranteed.

6. Use Bonus Buy to jump directly to the Bonus Choice stage (think twice here).

If you play with small bets (1-2 would be the best option) and extend the session without changing your bankroll, the chances of bonus rounds will increase, and the potential prize may be higher. But if you are a high roller, play as you wish; in this case, you don't need a strategy as such.

I'll start with the main advantage: the basic game, i.e., gameplay without features, feels lively, engaging, and dynamic. There are more than enough small and medium rewards, although there are still more empty spins, but this is normal for the industry. I played at a bet of $2 per spin, which I consider to be the most optimal for getting acquainted with slots with non-fixed paylines, and here we have two in one.

A few words about the sound design and style — it's truly impressive. Both the original and the sequel set the bar high in this regard, which most modern slots still have a long way to go to reach. Play Gold Blitz for free, and one session will make you understand what I mean.

I was able to knock out one bonus round naturally, but I also bought another one after the test was over. Neither of them depleted my bankroll; instead, they even increased it a little.
