Michigan’s Online Casinos Hits Revenue Record in May 2025

• Total AGR: $271.8M

• Online Casino AGR: $236.2M (+32.2% Y-to-Y)

• Sports Betting AGR: $35.6M (+26.6% Y-to-Y)

• Total Gross Receipts: $301.43M

• Online Casino Gross Receipts: $251.47M

• Sports Betting Gross Receipts: $49.96M

• Taxes & Payments to the State of Michigan: $51.1M

• Payments to the City of Detroit: $13.35M

• Tribal Operator Payments: $5.8M

Michigan currently licenses 15 online casino operators and 12 online sportsbook operators.

May’s results surpassed the previous record set in March 2025 ($260.7M AGR). For comparison, New Jersey reported $192.1M in online gambling revenue in May 2025, confirming Michigan’s lead among regulated US states by revenue.
