Since beauty mogul Kylie Jenner was stripped of her billionaire status by Forbes earlier this year, the number crunchers here at SlotsUp have been busy calculating who will be the next youngest female billionaire. And you might be quite surprised at who is on the list!

Predicting the next youngest female billionaire

Each year, Forbes releases a list ranking the world’s richest self-made women and of the latest list, just 11 of them are below the age of 40. But who will be the next youngest self-made billionaire?

Taking the annual earnings* of each person on the list, combined with their net worth, we were able to predict how long it would be for each of these young millionaires to become billionaires.

Revealed: The World’s Next Youngest Female Billionaire

With a net worth of $900m, and an enormous yearly salary of nearly $600m, 22-year-old Kylie Jenner tops the list and we’re predicting she will actually become a billionaire before the end of 2020.

Female Billionaires Under 40

Self-made multi-millionaire Beyoncé Knowles-Carter could be next in line. As one of the most influential women in the music industry, we predict she will join Kylie in the billion-dollar club in just nine years’ time, which would make Bey age 46.

Beyoncé has an estimated net worth of $400 million* and yearly earnings of $64 million**, thanks to her music, touring, brands, and endorsements including her Ivy Park athleisure brand and “significant equity” in her husband’s music streaming service Tidal.

Timeline of a Billionairess

Out of the 11 wealthy women we analysed, just seven of them have a chance of breaking the billion-dollar barrier in their lifetime, based on their average earnings and net worth calculation.

Timeline Of Billionairess

Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian West are predicted to hit billionaire status first, with the tech giant and Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd following in 2042 and sporting champion Serena Williams in 2047.

Age of Success

Of the richest self-made women under 40, only Kylie Jenner will hit a billion before she reaches the age of 40 herself. In fact, (if our predictions are correct) Kylie will be the first female billionaire under 30, too.

Age Of The Youngest Women Billionaires

Taylor Swift will be the next youngest woman to hit a billion. We’ve calculated that (based on her current earnings) it will take Taylor 29 years to hit billionaire status making her 42. This is just a year quicker than rival Rihanna as we predict she will be 43 by the time she is worth a billion.

Instagram Rich List

Whilst each of these women has its own businesses, deals, and endorsements, many of them also have millions of Instagram followers online. So how much could our young rich-list stand earn if they just relied on Instagram endorsements?

Rich List Of Instagram Women Billionaires

Well – a fair bit actually! Kylie Jenner’s Instagram posts are worth an estimated $610k, and her sister Kim isn’t far off with $590. Not a bad going rate for a quick snap!

Revealing the Recipe for Success

So what do our successful female entrepreneurs have in common? Being from the USA helps – 81% of our young soon-to-be-billionaires are American, with only two – Rihanna and Neha Narkhede hail from other countries, those being Barbados and India respectively.

Coming from a big family helps too – 45% of our female entrepreneurs came from families with more than three siblings – perhaps there’s something about having multiple brothers and sisters that pushes people to stand out more?

On top of that, 30% of our entrepreneurs are Libras. Libras are known as being cooperative, diplomatic, and social – all traits of a successful businesswoman!

Methodology

Using the Forbes richest women list, we took the 11 youngest women from the list and calculated how long it would take them to be worth a billion, based on their current earnings, taken from Wage Indicator and Salary.com.
