BetMGM Casino has ramped up its presence in New Jersey by joining forces with table game specialists Score Gaming to launch a unique blackjack title.

The newly introduced blackjack variant entitled Double-Up Blackjack, which was created in-house by Entain’s Win Studios, is essentially a cunning spin-off on the traditional game.

Indeed, Double-Up Blackjack enables players to double their wager on any two hands, thereby negating instances of a natural blackjack.

To “double up”, a player can place an additional wager of any amount up to the initial stake.

Moreover, the game is built around the End 16 Rule, which guarantees a player can win but can never incur a loss when the dealer has 16 in hand.

Within this, the game features a new side bet, the 16 Bonus side bet, which is an optional wager that provides enticing rewards. It is thought the optional wager will enhance the overall gaming experience.

Score Gaming’s deal will see Double-Up Blackjack rolled out exclusively to BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online in the Garden State.

And the collaboration was lauded by Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming Products.

He said: “Double-Up Blackjack offers a twist on the classic game and adds another layer of excitement for players.

“Double-Up Blackjack further strengthens the variety of our table game offerings that feature in-house produced titles from Entain, as well as great partners like Score Gaming.”

Double Up Blackjack debuted in 2012 in retail casinos, earning widespread acclaim, and it has now gained more prominence at land-based establishments.

At the moment, the New Jersey online casino market is booming and BetMGM Casino is ready to make a further dent having recently inked a deal with Relax Gaming to give NJ players access to their slot titles.

BetMGM continues to cut through the noise, and they will be hoping they can score big through Double Up Blackjack.
