Flutter, a leading gaming and entertainment company, has announced the official relaunch of PokerStars VR, a cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) product. Flutter will now offer the gaming platform under its new brand, Vegas Infinite.

The rebranding strategy is part of a comprehensive transformation of the free-to-play social casino video game. Having been at the forefront of gaming and entertainment for nearly five years as PokerStars VR, Vegas Infinite marks the next stage in the game’s virtual evolution.

The launch of Vegas Infinite introduces players to a brand-new, custom-designed 3D virtual cityscape where they can explore various facets of the virtual offer. Players will now engage with personal suites, luxurious casinos, and exclusive rooftop escapes.

Moreover, Vegas Infinite will soon be accessible on a new platform, enabling PC players to join others on Steam VR and Meta Quest VR without requiring a headset. Flutter is renowned for its commitment to product innovation across its global brand portfolio.

Through the unique Flutter Edge initiative, where product and technology expertise are shared across the entire group, brands like PokerStars can continually enhance their offerings. These brands have achieved innovation by incorporating insights and enhancements from various parts of Flutter.

Since its initial launch in 2018, PokerStars VR, now Vegas Infinite, has undergone continuous development, particularly following Flutter’s acquisition of the brand in 2021. Over the years, the product has expanded its offerings to include an ample repertoire of gaming selections.

These selections have accounted for blackjack, roulette, slots, craps and the exclusive Rocket Rush, alongside traditional poker. The addition of Spin & Go poker, MTTs and the flagship poker tournament series, the Metaverse Poker Tour (MPT), further enriched the virtual destination.

Other features like personal suites, dressing rooms, Casino One’s luxury casino floor and The Gallery, an exclusive casino for high rollers, have transformed Vegas Infinite into a multifaceted entertainment experience.

The brand has made significant advances by incorporating player safety as a core focus during development. Vegas Infinite utilizes ToxMod, an AI live chat monitoring tool, alongside a dedicated moderation team.

Players are provided various in-game safety tools, including options for taking breaks from games, setting spending limits, issuing player reports and customizing their in-game interactions with others.

James O’Reilly, PokerStars Director of VR & Innovation, expressed excitement about the company’s fifth anniversary and trajectory. O’Reilly pointed out that the company is on the right path to continue growing and developing its gaming offer.
