    In November, Kansas casinos amassed a total revenue of $31.62 million, encompassing earnings from poker, slots and table games. This figure reflects a marginal 0.58% decline compared to the same period last year.

    Notably, Boot Hill Casino and Hollywood Casino demonstrated positive year-over-year growth, while Kansas Star Casino and Kansas Crossing Casino experienced slight downturns.

    Hollywood Casino reported revenues of $12,427,831, reflecting a 2.51% annual increase. Conversely, Kansas Star Casino experienced a 4.52% yearly decline, with total revenues amounting to $12,039,350.

    On the positive side, Boot Hill Casino showcased a 3.66% increase from November 2022, with revenues reaching $3,829,947. However, Kansas Crossing Casino recorded a 1.62% annual drop, generating revenues of $3,142,057.

    Looking at the broader picture, November’s total gaming revenue for Kansas casinos exhibited a 2.42% decrease compared to the previous month, standing at $31.62 million, as opposed to October’s $32.4 million.

    In November, Kansas achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new sports betting handle record for the third consecutive month, with total bets reaching an impressive $260.94 million.

    This comprised $9,302,224 from retail sports betting locations and a substantial $177,051,484 wagered across online sportsbooks. The November figure represents a 4.49% monthly upswing from the previous gaming revenue record in October, which stood at $249.71 million.

    Moreover, the total for November reflects an impressive 40.02% annual growth compared to the $186.35 million recorded in the same month of the previous year.

    However, despite this handle record, November’s sports betting revenue for Kansas amounted to $8.93 million, signaling a notable 38.22% monthly decline from the robust $14.37 million in October.

    Furthermore, the November revenue figure reveals a 26.84% annual drop from the $12.21 million net revenue generated in the same month the previous year.

    The November report from the Kansas Lottery disclosed that the state collected $892,968 in taxes during this bustling month of sports betting activity.

    In terms of the performance of online sportsbook operators, Boot Hill, under DraftKings Sportsbook, continued to dominate as the overall number one, with a total of $109,572,976 in bets and $4,206,003 in revenue.

    Following closely, Kansas Star, standing for FanDuel Sportsbook, secured the second spot with $80,128,784 in handle and $2,824,290 in revenue.

    Meanwhile, Kansas Crossing, sponsored by BetMGM, recorded $24,146,335 in total bets and $962,326 in revenue, and Hollywood, standing for Barstool/ESPN, reported $21,524,694 in handle and $53,063 in revenue.

    Additionally, Kansas Crossing, under Caesars Sportsbook, contributed $12,704,814 in total bets, generating $130,224 in revenue, while Kansas Crossing, led by PointsBet, saw $3,618,543 in handle with no revenue reported.

    Out of the overall November revenue totaling $8.93 million, a significant portion of nearly $8.18 million was generated through Kansas online sportsbooks.
