I started with a balance of $100,000 and a bet of $4 (although on the third spin, I made an Ante Bet to improve my chances of getting a bonus round). And while I was playing Ante Bet, I didn't get a single bonus round, just like I didn't get one with a regular bet. So I had to buy it for $400 (100x the bet). The bonus round paid off, but even after that, I was still in the red. I bought it almost at the end of my 100 spins, so at that point, my balance was at least $200 in the red. It's worth mentioning the base game here: it's slow. 

Although the theme and music are well done, it doesn't add any drive or dynamics to the gameplay. Only in the bonus round does it have any. In addition, only in the bonus round are there chances for at least some winnings. So, I immediately recommend playing with small bets ($1-2) to stretch your budget for more spins and, accordingly, increase your chances of winning.
