Gem Trio in Demo Mode

To play Gem Trio, adjust a stake and rotate 3 standard reels. The game belongs to Pragmatic Play, which has added 9 paylines (fixed by default). The theme is built around retro style with corresponding symbols and features.

The base rounds include creating winning chains of 3 matches symbols. However, you can take advantage of additional features, such as wild symbols or rounds with free spins. There are no complex rules or hidden details.

Symbols and Paylines

The paytable of the free game is modest. There, you can spot single, double, or triple BARs and the same forms of 7s. Plus, there are additional Gem Trio symbols: x3, red wild, and green wild. To claim the biggest prizes in the base game ($1,750), aim for triple 7s.

All symbols show up on 9 lines. They are fixed during the play and you cannot adjust their number.

Beyond the base rounds, users can take advantage of some extra features. Here is what these include:

• Wilds — Red and wild symbols bring their own prizes of up to $31,250 and $12,500, respectively. Also, they can replace regular icons in order to complete their combinations.

• Multipliers — If a symbol x3 is involved into a winning chain, it increases the Gem Trio slot machine overall payout.

• Free Spins — Gem symbols unlock a bonus of free spins with a Jackpot or Double modifier. Then, you make 10 rotations for free. The round takes place on two grids with its own set of 3 reels.

• Buy Feature — Press that button if you want to trigger free spins without waiting for gem symbols to collect.

Pay special attention to the Buy Feature. It is especially effective since it takes time to land all three gems.

The payout system of Gem Trio is based on several factors. The main one is its high volatility. Others are available below.

Bet Limits and Maximum Payout

The free Gem Trio slot involves a wide range of stakes. In any round it ranges between $0.10 and $250 per one round. The big win in this free video slot includes 20.0000x. There are four jackpots in the game: mini, minor, major, and grand.

Volatility and RTP

There is a high volatility level. Prizes happen less frequently, yet their sums are usually big. The RTP is competitive – 96.5%. It is above the average level.

Balance Between Risks and Rewards

It is clear that the free game from Pragmatic Play involves high risk. This is due to high volatility that does not bring prizes in every single round. However, when winning combinations land, players claim solid prizes of up to $2,500,000 as a grand jackpot. Just make sure your bankroll is enough to pass possible losing streaks.

My demo session consisted of 100 spins and a bankroll of 1000 free credits. The first part (25 rounds) delivered several small prizes of 5.00 and 1.00 credits.

The Gem Trio free slot bonus round triggered at spin 39. The overall payout for that feature was pretty solid – 107.60 coins. Besides, during that feature, I managed to land a x3 multiplier, so that is why the overall payout was so big.

The rest of the spins were with moderate or zero winnings. The biggest prizes reached 10.00 coins. At the end of the session, my demo bankroll was around 976 coins.
