Plinko

Plinko is a popular casino game in which a ball is dropped from the top of a vertical board filled with pegs. As the ball bounces off the pegs, it travels unpredictably downward and lands in one of several slots at the bottom, each assigned a different multiplier or payout value.

How It Works

The mechanics are straightforward. The player chooses a bet size, selects a risk level, and drops the ball. The ball's path is entirely random — no skill or strategy can influence where it lands. The payout depends on which slot the ball falls into. Center slots typically offer lower but more frequent multipliers, while edge slots offer high multipliers that are rarely hit.

Most versions of the game allow players to adjust:

  • Number of rows (usually between 8 and 16) — more rows mean more pegs, a wider board, and more extreme payouts

  • Risk level (Low / Medium / High) — determines how spread out the multipliers are

  • Bet size — the base amount multiplied by the slot coefficient
